Hello my lovelies!
Firstly, I would like to thank all of you for coming along with me on this WILD ride, and for reading this, and for following me on instagram @madame.mak_jewellery!
The last 4 months have been FULL of adventures since I took the leap from 13th year scientist to full time self-employed jeweller in a matter of....... overnight!!!
Instagram has been such an interactive and wonderful platform and I've been so grateful to have met many of you over there for some great chats and laughs- much needed as I work in permanent iso now since becoming self employed.
Last year I would've never thought I would be where I am today. It is a very surreal feeling and every day brings a new adventure and challenge of some kind. It's weird, terrifying, fun and calming all at once....
I urge all of you who have a dream to just keep going! It's never easy but it is SO worth it and I would've done it sooner!
I've been obsessed with jewellery from a child, and spent most of my time at the shops perusing jewellery displays- there were only a few places mum would find me if I ever went missing!
I started out collecting preloved, vintage and antique jewels way back, and am thrilled to be able to create new jewels to adorn you.
I love making, I love educating and I love people. I am SO READY!!!!
