A sweet Sterling Silver (.925) pendant, featuring a VERY QUIRKY 8.1 ct solid Australian opal in a snug cage/claw setting - with decorative bobbles around the edges, as always! The pendant has a high polish finish on the claws, and frosting to the rear (with an adorable heart cutout in the metal).
Opal measures: 13.6mm x 13mm x 5.9mm and has a very lustrous polish. There are a couple of interesting "pits" and grooves in the opal (one on top, and a few to the side and rear) which are a natural part of the opal.
Pendant measures: 15.5 mm L x 14 mm W approximately, excluding jump rings.
Weight: 4.4 grams excluding chain weight (decently chunky)
Sliding bail has internal diameter of 3.4mm x 4.5mm, and suits many chains.
Total drop length of pendant (from chain): 27mm
