NEW DATES RELEASED FOR 2025!!!

Immerse yourself in a refined jewellery-making experience in my Cast-Not-Set Lost Wax Ring Carving workshop, located in my studio (3105, VIC).

This course is perfect for those with prior wax carving experience, looking to delve deeper into crafting and setting gemstones directly into wax rings. You'll benefit from my personalised guidance, leaving the course with your very own shiny silver ring adorned with flush-set cast in place gemstones.

You will create one silver ring or multiple less-involved rings eg. simple stacking rings set with a gemstone/s directly in wax, for the popular cast-not-set (cast-in-place) method. Gemstone choices are limited - you can choose up to 5 synthetic round stones in different colours and sizes to flush set into your ring/s (not all gemstones are suitable for casting in place - more about that in class!).

If you are well-seasoned in finishing/polishing metal and wish to skip the final (second) session, please contact me and I'll happily adjust the price ($-200.00) and remove this component from your booking (eg. if you have already attended my beginner's finishing course, or if you're already deep into silversmithing/fabrication and have already established your own polishing protocol).

I look forward to seeing you in class!

Much Love,

Dahna

Prerequisites

This course requires previous wax carving experience. If you have not completed my beginner's introductory course, please ensure you have attended a similar course elsewhere (or enrol with Madame Mak prior to booking this intermediate class).
